PRESSURE TESTING

Kraken Subsea is dedicated to developing new, smarter solutions to simplify and improve offshore pre-commissioning

SUBSEA DATALOGGERS

Our compact, self-contained, subsea data loggers are highly accurate, reliable and easy to configure. Readings can be viewed locally on the OLED display or transmitted remotely over several optional interfaces.

Kraken Subsea's data loggers are also able to provide a visual indication of whether a test has passed set acceptance criteria prior to recovering the unit and the analysing data upon request. This functionality will vary depending on pressure testing design code and client requirements.

Typical data that can be recorded as standard include: date, time, pressure, flow rate, total volume added/released and subsea temperature.

Additional parameters can be logged upon request.

DATALOGGING MANIFOLDS

With relevant onboard isolations, our datalogging manifolds are able to connect to and monitor up to four systems at once as standard.

Simply connect our unit subsea between the systems to be tested and downline (connected to a conventional vessel based pressure testing spread) and pressurise through our datalogging unit.

Once each system reaches their required test pressure, the unit can be isolated and disconnected, freeing up the vessel to perform other activities.

Our units will continue to monitor and record data during the test and can depressurise each system subsea once a test has been completed successfully. This can be done via diver/ROV or autonomously if required.

SUBSEA PRESSURISATION SKID

The subsea pressurisation unit provides a step-change to traditional pressure testing operations by reducing mobilisation / demobilisation times, improving safety, reducing deployment / setup times along with reducing the carbon footprint and virtually eliminating stabilisation times usually associated with this operation from a traditional back deck spread.

As an industry first, this allows pressure testing operations to be completed entirely on the seabed utilising the power available form an ROV to drive onboard pressurisation pumps.

From pressurisation, system isolation, monitoring, confirmation of acceptance and depressurisation, Kraken Subsea has got you covered.
