Kraken Subsea's Pig Sniffer is the first of its kind in a new range of handheld magnetic pig detection equipment.

 

A unique, non-intrusive and simple to use handheld pig indicator detects location through magnetic field detection. A simple display makes it a highly intuitive system, providing accurate and reliable local indication of a pigs location.

The Subsea Pig Sniffer is a stand-alone subsea magnetic pig signaller, designed to detect pipeline pigs passing the sniffers location carrying rare-earth magnets.

 

The Subsea Pig Sniffer uses a specially designed algorithm combined with digital filtering to ensure high reliability and significantly reduces the likelihood of false-readings.
